Daily Bloggings 5/14/10

As the Celtics eliminated the Cavs last night in the NBA playoffs, rumor has it Lebron James was singing New York, New York on the way out of TD Garden. By the way...Rajon Rondo for the Celtics is one hell of a point guard.

The Philadelphia Flyers were down 3 games to 0 to the Bruins, but now have a chance with a win tonight to move on and play the Montreal Canadiens WITH the home ice advantage in the conference finals.....amazing!

Everyone knows FOX NEWS has a Republican slant....but at least Bill O'Reilly makes an attempt to be fair and balanced. Far better than MSNBC'S Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow.

The 76'rs need more than a coach...they need a buzz. In my opinion, the candidates that would excite the fan base are in order are: Doug Collins, Bill Laimbeer, Avery Johnson.

Is it just me.....or do the pirated names of sports teams still bother you? There really shouldn't be a Utah Jazz. The Colts belong in Baltimore, the Cardinals in St. Louis, and the Rams in Los Angeles (if they ever get another team). I propose a trade....if teams want municipal funding for stadiums, the cities get to keep the team name!

More thoughts later......

  1. Rondo is as good as any point guard in the league.
Derron Williams, Chris Paul and Nash are the others.
With Rondo you get the defense and rebounding, AND,
when he drives the lane and passes around 2 defenders into the low block ... how does he do that??
Actually I think the 2 best point guards in the league are ... Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Those guys are unreal!
