Daily Bloggings 4/12/10

Items.....

A shout out to Michael Barkann, Bob Cooney, Sam Donnellon, Dei Lynam and all the nice folks at Comcast regarding my appearance Friday on Daily News Live.....and to coach Dick Vermeil who drove 45 miles each way in the teeth of rush hour traffic to do a 15 minute spot to help promote my book An Improbable Journey.

AN IMPROBABLE JOURNEY is available at http://www.kendunekbook.com/

Phil Mickleson winning the Masters in the midst of the personal trauma he is facing is truly a feel good story. I hope the happy ending includes his wife Amy's full recovery from breast cancer.

So they imploded the old Dallas Cowboy's Stadium in Irving, Texas. My most vivid recollection of that place was the brutal hit that Cowboy's defensive back Dennis Thurman laid on Eagle wide receiver Harold Carmichael in 1980 that took the "tallest target in town" out of the game and ended his consecutive game reception streak.

The Flyer's made the playoffs on a shoot out! Go get them Devil's boys.

That's all for now.....
