Easy Way Out?

Now let me get this straight.....

In his 2010 post mortem when the Birds were roped, tied, and branded by the Cowboys, Andy Reid announced to the world that Donovan McNabb would be the Eagles starting QB in 2011. He then traded McNabb in April to the Washington Redskins.

This year at his now ritualistic "early to exit, this team has promise, wait til next year ala the Chicago Cubs" press conference, Reid lauded defensive co-ordinator Sean McDermott and said he would return for 2012. So Big Red promptly went on a much needed and quite convenient vacation, and had the team announce that both McDermott and Defensive Line Coach Rory Segrest had been fired.

Here's the thing about credibility Andy.....you only get so much of it.

I totally agree, Big Red gets a free pass from his bosses, unlike anyone else in the history of the world. How he survives is beyond me, he can't prepare for games, he does the same thing all the time, he cannot adjust, he disregards positions on the field. Linebackers for instance, how he devalues this position is criminal, ignore the need for good receivers for years ,(unlike he drafted DeSean an Jeremy. He throws the ball 65% of the time but doesn't consider good receivers important !!!!!. Let Lito and Sheldon walk and now you have no corners.

The players like him yes, but if I were a players I would not trust him an inch.

Time to consider changes, Andy has to change or we will be dying over this team forever.

  2. Walt- Andy Reid is a good man and an above average game planner, but it pains me to say it might be time to look in another direction if the Eagle's want to win the big prize.

Thanks for your contribution to the blog....Ken
